Monica Toews Brown
Monica Toews BrownDirector/Principal Consultant
Monica is a highly experienced safety professional with over 16 years of practical experience across a range of industries, including Civil, Rail, Power, Water, Building, Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Communications. With a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Psychology, Monica brings a unique perspective to safety implementation and problem resolution, allowing her to take a strong, pragmatic, and collaborative approach.

Monica has developed extensive expertise in auditing and inspections, risk assessment workshops, system development and implementation, mentoring, training, and incident investigations using methods such as ICAM. Her ability to approach safety initiatives with a strategic mindset and thoroughness, coupled with excellent communication skills, makes her an invaluable leader of our team.

Monica is also known for her ability to build and manage positive and professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. Her combination of practical experience and academic qualifications ensures that she can bring a high level of expertise to any safety-related project or initiative.

James Brown
James BrownOperations Manager
James has an extensive and diverse background in practical safety, with over 25 years of experience in various industries, including Rail, Power, Water, Communications, Civil, Maintenance, and Building. His experience includes facilitating risk assessment workshops, system development and implementation, auditing and inspections, mentoring, and conducting incident investigations, with a particular passion for using methods such as ICAM.

James is known for his practical and technical expertise, as well as his ability to communicate effectively and build rapport quickly with key personnel. This allows him to develop strong relationships and influence key decision-makers both internally and externally, leading to successful outcomes.

In addition to his wealth of experience, James also has four years of experience in a Senior Management role as the NSW/ACT Operations Safety Manager. His expertise and leadership have contributed significantly to the success of his team and organisation.

Allan Dostal
Allan DostalSenior WHS Specialist
With his extensive hands-on experience and practical knowledge, Allan is well-equipped to assist your organisation in protecting its most valuable asset – its people. Allan takes a practical and systematic approach to safety, enabling him to identify potential areas of risk and develop effective control strategies to prevent harm.

Over the past 14 years, Allan has gained practical experience in various industries, including civil, power, water, transport and logistics, and rail. His experience in different roles, from Plant Operator to National Safety Coordinator, has given him a unique perspective, allowing him to take a strong, pragmatic, and collaborative approach to risk management, leadership, and problem resolution.

Allan has in-depth practical experience with Safety and Quality Management Systems, including the development, implementation, and review of management systems and tools. He is skilled in conducting audits and inspections, leading incident investigations, and developing and delivering training materials and assessment tools. Allan’s expertise in these areas makes him a valuable asset to any organisation looking to improve its safety practices and protect its people.

Carrie Loughnan

With over 18 years of experience in sales, marketing, recruitment, account management, and business development, Carrie possesses a rich professional background that has cultivated her deep understanding of client relations. Throughout her career, she has consistently showcased her ability to forge strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.

Carrie’s passion for the arts is also a significant aspect of her professional journey. Having studied Arts at Capilano University in Vancouver, Canada, she brings a unique perspective to her work, infused with creativity and artistic flair. Her remarkable ability to manage multiple responsibilities is a testament to her dedication and work ethic.

Driven by wanderlust, Carrie has explored nearly 30 countries and resided in diverse cities around the world, including Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton, Sydney, New York City, and Melbourne. These experiences have nurtured her adaptability and open-mindedness, qualities that prove invaluable in her role at Red Insight.

Mandy Acland
Mandy Acland Support Coordinator
With over 16 years experience working for Woolworths as a Fresh Convenience Manager, along with being the Safety Team Leader, Mandy brings with her a vast experience in working with people. Ready for a new challenge, Mandy is diving into Red Insights Support Team where she’ll help manage all the details involved in report writing and our HSEQ systems details. With eagerness, willingness to learn and a commitment to her growth we are proud to have Mandy on our team.

Brooke is ready for professional development and growth in a new career path. She has had seven years’ experience in the Early Childhood Education profession, working in many roles and learning so much throughout this time. With a strong passion for helping people, encouraging, and inspiring others, and combined with her attention to detail we are very proud to have Brooke join our Support Team.

Tiffany has over 12 years of experience in HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) roles spanning the construction and mining sectors in New South Wales (NSW), Queensland (QLD), and South Australia (SA), has not only accrued a wealth of expertise but has also revealed a deep-seated passion for management plans and system oversight. Her professional journey has been a dynamic one, taking her from bustling urban corporate offices to remote fly-in, fly-out sites. Her involvement in these industries has been multi-faceted, encompassing coal mining, construction within the gas mining sector, as well as the adept management of substantial building, road, and rail infrastructure projects for top-tier companies.
