Monica Toews Brown
Monica Toews BrownDirector/Principal Consultant
Monica is a highly experienced safety professional with over 16 years of practical experience across a range of industries, including Civil, Rail, Power, Water, Building, Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Communications. With a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Psychology, Monica brings a unique perspective to safety implementation and problem resolution, allowing her to take a strong, pragmatic, and collaborative approach.

Monica has developed extensive expertise in auditing and inspections, risk assessment workshops, system development and implementation, mentoring, training, and incident investigations using methods such as ICAM. Her ability to approach safety initiatives with a strategic mindset and thoroughness, coupled with excellent communication skills, makes her an invaluable leader of our team.

Monica is also known for her ability to build and manage positive and professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. Her combination of practical experience and academic qualifications ensures that she can bring a high level of expertise to any safety-related project or initiative.

James Brown
James BrownOperations Manager
James has an extensive and diverse background in practical safety, with over 25 years of experience in various industries, including Rail, Power, Water, Communications, Civil, Maintenance, and Building. His experience includes facilitating risk assessment workshops, system development and implementation, auditing and inspections, mentoring, and conducting incident investigations, with a particular passion for using methods such as ICAM.

James is known for his practical and technical expertise, as well as his ability to communicate effectively and build rapport quickly with key personnel. This allows him to develop strong relationships and influence key decision-makers both internally and externally, leading to successful outcomes.

In addition to his wealth of experience, James also has four years of experience in a Senior Management role as the NSW/ACT Operations Safety Manager. His expertise and leadership have contributed significantly to the success of his team and organisation.

Mandy Acland
Mandy Acland Support Coordinator
Mandy is a loyal, hardworking, and friendly people person who joined Red Insight over two years ago. In her time with us, she has made incredible progress, showcasing her dedication and eagerness to learn. Mandy plays a crucial role in supporting the Consultant team with WHS system documentation, writing proposals, and managing invoices. Outside of work, she’s a dedicated mum to two competitive boys and has an incredible sweet tooth. Mandy’s dedication and competitive spirit make her an invaluable member of our team.
Andy Roberts

Andy Roberts is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in Workplace Health, Safety, Environment, and Training across industries like Mining, Gas, Transport, Construction, Energy, and Civil sectors. His military background instilled discipline and exceptional leadership, which he leverages to foster safe, compliant, and efficient workplaces.
Andrew excels in developing HSEQ systems, ensuring ISO compliance, and driving behavioural change through effective communication and fairness. He has led incident investigations, mitigated risks, and delivered workplace training programs, empowering teams to thrive in challenging environments. A collaborative leader, Andrew focuses on continuous improvement, compliance auditing, and risk management to achieve safety excellence.
Outside work, Andrew enjoys staying active at the gym, riding motorcycles, camping, exploring off-track destinations, spending quality time with family, and relaxing with friends. He combines professional expertise with a zest for life, making him a well-rounded and inspiring leader.
Carrie Loughnan

With over 18 years of experience in sales, marketing, recruitment, account management, and business development, Carrie possesses a rich professional background that has cultivated her deep understanding of client relations. Throughout her career, she has consistently showcased her ability to forge strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.

Carrie’s passion for the arts is also a significant aspect of her professional journey. Having studied Arts at Capilano University in Vancouver, Canada, she brings a unique perspective to her work, infused with creativity and artistic flair. Her remarkable ability to manage multiple responsibilities is a testament to her dedication and work ethic.

Driven by wanderlust, Carrie has explored nearly 30 countries and resided in diverse cities around the world, including Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton, Sydney, New York City, and Melbourne. These experiences have nurtured her adaptability and open-mindedness, qualities that prove invaluable in her role at Red Insight.
